Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has hailed the team’s crucial win at Everton, while praising the performance of youngster Nico O’Reilly after he scored again.

Manchester City moved back up to fourth in the table after Nico O’Reilly and Mateo Kovacic scored late goals at Everton 2-0 in the Premier League on Saturday.

Pep said after the game: “This is a very important win. We have three more home games and two away games. Our qualification will be at home, but those games will be difficult.”

“Stefan Ortega made สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน the save he wanted to make. The players raised their level in the second half. We were sharper. I’m very pleased with what we did in the second half. The players played very well.”

Pep also praised in-form youngster Nico O’Reilly, who scored again for the team, saying: “He’s come from the academy and he’s helping the team a lot. I’m more than happy. He’s taking his chance.”

“He can continue to develop. He’s still young. When you play every day, you can do it. He’s another player that can help us.”

Guardiola was quick to acknowledge the youngster’s impact.

“He’s not really a left-back. He’s an attacking midfielder. But like Gvardiol before him, he has adapted and is helping us enormously. He has taken his opportunity well, and I’m more than grateful,” said the Spanish tactician.

O’Reilly’s goal made him the fourth-youngest player to score in consecutive Premier League games for City, following in the footsteps of Kelechi Iheanacho, Gabriel Jesus, and Phil Foden.
